Fred Dockins Sr

In the year 1972, a young man from Malden, MO found his passion for radio at the age of 16. That is just the beginning of Fred Dockins’ journey. From there Fred worked at multiple radio stations and various other jobs before he was able to purchase his first station KFTW-AM, in Fredericktown, MO in 1995. With a lot of hard work and sleepless nights, Froggy 96, KYLS FM, was born and put on the air April 7th, 1996. This was just the beginning as Fred continued to grow his businesses in Missouri, Florida, and Alabama by a very simple philosophy, take care of the community and provide a well needed public service. Fred has always been a proud supporter of local business and local school districts.
